Millie Bobby Brown Gave Fans a Very Close-Up Look at Her Acne — See Photos

One of the biggest beauty lies ever told is that acne only happens to teens. You can drink all the water in the world and invest in the most expensive skin-care treatments but still have acne because it’s simply a part of life. That can be easy to forget when social media filters make it seem like everyone has even, clear skin. That’s not even a reality for many celebrities, as Millie Bobby Brown recently proved with a candid selfie showcasing her acne, up close and personal.

On October 22, Brown posted two photos on Instagram with the caption, “@florencebymills send help!” The first photo was a side profile of the actor with rimmed eyes and shimmery eye makeup holding her hair in her hand. The second photo featured a makeup-free selfie of Brown with her lips scrunched up. 

The even, blemish-free skin depicted in the first photo is gone in the second. Without makeup, her natural redness peeks through around her cheeks and nose. There are a few other red splotches as well as some breakouts on the rest of her face.
