Whiteheads aren’t pimples or acne. Most of us, use acne, pimples, blackheads and whiteheads as synonyms for the other. However , whiteheads are fully different to the other sorts of inflammations on the skin.
Whiteheads occur when a pore in the skin gets clogged with sebum. Sebum is an oily emission which keeps the skin moisturized, supple and healthy. When there’s a glut of sebum in the pore, it is getting blocked, which leads to closing. This closed pore turns white and results in a swelling, which is referred to as a whitehead.
