There is a book out in the market today that purports to assist you achieve an acne-free face in just three days, and the book is the Acne Free in Three Days that was written by Chris Gibson. Now, whether this really is beneficial or not is still up to the individual who tried the cure proposed by Gibson, and there are those who claimed that the method worked for them. On the other hand, there were some people that said it was nothing but a scam.

I recently read an article with the title “Have Acne? Best Medication Is Clean Hygiene.” This made me wonder how many other people think acne is a hygiene problem. Probably a great many, I concluded. Why else do people sometimes scrub their faces raw to try and get rid of it?

The truth is, acne is not related to hygiene. Although it is important to wash your face once or twice a day if you have acne, it has nothing to do with dirt.

The problem has more to do with the accumulation of sebum, the substance secreted from sebaceous glands of the skin. The plain English definition would be oils secreted by the skin. And yes, this material does need to be controlled, preferably with regular, gentle cleansing of the skin. It has nothing to do with a lack of cleanliness.

Pimples are so ugly, no one likes to have them they make you feel  uncomfortable. This is why the minute they show up people scurry about finding cures to help get rid of the ugliness. Although its understandable to want to get rid of them as fast as they appeared we also need to know what makes pimples, pimples. Acne is a skin condition that usually occurs in adolescents. This skin condition is usually caused by the presence of a certain type of bacterium in the individual’s skin. This bacterium allows the skin to fester and blemishes to grow and become infected. There are also some factors that add to the severity of acne. Poor hygiene, clogged pores and an excessive amount of sebum on the skin can actually make acne worse. Constant exposure to dust and dirt can also amplify the case of acne.
