What Antibiotics worked the best for your Acne?
I have taken Minocycline, Doxycycline, and currently taking Erythromycin. I was wondering if anyone had any success with antibiotics curing their acne.
From previous experience I know the antibiotics are not a long term cure for acne, but im hoping this time it will be, I have been on and off many different types for 4 years because I refuse to take Accutane because of how harsh it is and also the severity of the side effects.
Im also trying Differen, a cream and Benzaclin (antibiotichydrogen peroxide cream)
any tips would be greatly appreciated, I have been suffering from acne for far too long.

The only harshness I had was the initial drying of skin but it was a revelation in getting rid of severe acne!
My acne was so bad the doctor sent me to the hospital and the hospital took photos as evidence of the damage across my shoulders and back.
After years of suffering, Roaccutane literally cleared it all up in 2 weeks.
I don't have acne problems at all now and I can go shirtless (where appropriate!) without paranoid fear of the scars on my back that have now gone.
I guess I was deperate and young at the time, but I never noticed any side effects other than dryness of the skin which I still get after washing.
