Most teenagers nowadays believe that having a clear and smooth complexion will help them improve their social standing. Frequently, teenagers with acne are cast out from the social circle. Keep in mind that your risk increases if you keep on cleansing and scrubbing your skin. The wise thing to do is to only cleanse it two times daily. Otherwise, your skin will dry up and thus more dead skin cells will build up.

Exposure to too much sunlight can also cause dry skin. If you can’t avoid it, use moisturizer regularly to keep the skin moisturized.

Acne also develops if we are having emotional or mental problems. Stress and fatigue might cause acne development. Though this statement is not scientifically proven, living a stress-free life can increase your chances of having a healthy lifestyle.
